My Story
Hello, my name is Nova Jude, and I am the founder of Appealing Solutions. My journey began as a patient navigating the complexities of insurance appeals for a procedure that could profoundly improve my quality of life. Diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome I (CRPS I) and other debilitating chronic pain conditions, I endured years of relentless discomfort that limited my ability to care for my family, perform daily tasks, and live a fulfilling life.

When I learned about The Reed Procedure, a groundbreaking neurostimulation treatment, I felt a spark of hope. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when my insurance provider denied coverage for the procedure, labeling it as “unproven.” This denial came despite clinical evidence and expert recommendations supporting the procedure's safety and effectiveness. The appeals process felt overwhelming—filled with technical jargon, rigid guidelines, and seemingly insurmountable obstacles.

Determined to advocate for myself, I dove into the research, gathering clinical evidence, medical notes, and supporting documentation to challenge the decision. I highlighted the success of my initial trial procedure, which provided greater than 95% pain relief, proving its efficacy in managing my condition. I crafted detailed appeals that demonstrated the medical necessity of the procedure, aligning it with the insurer's policies and clinical guidelines. After persistence and careful documentation, I successfully overturned the denial and received the life-changing treatment.

I founded Appealing Solutions to be the advocate I wish I had from the start.
